Our Home Study Services
Definition: A home study is a detailed written report of your family, prepared by a social worker.
We do homestudies for most all adoption situations.
See our home study FAQ section for more answers to your questions.
Our Home Study Process:
1. Call or email to discuss your particular situation.
2. We'll send you some forms you must fill out and return to us.
3. A home visit will be arranged and conducted at a time that is convenient for you.
4. A final report, required by Washington State, is prepared, sent to you or your attorney and later filed with the court.
NOTE: Our home studies include a post-placement report.
Our coverage includes Mount Vernon Washington, Bellingham Washington, Blaine Washington, Whatcom county, Skagit county Snohomish County, Island and San Juan Counties.
Here we attempt to answer questions many people have when it comes to getting a homestudy done.
Give us a call or write to us and we'll answer any questions you might have regarding the homestudy process.
